We offer Pet Care services for dogs, cats, small mammals and rodents, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and birds. 

Please click on the Menu dropdown at the top of our homepage and then click on Book Your Appointment. You will fill out our scheduling form to request an appointment. As a new client, you will receive our New Client paperwork to fill out all of the info we need to give your pet the best care. Then, we will schedule a complimentary meet and greet before finalizing your booking , sending your invoice, and adding your pet to our calendar!

Birchwood Pets provides a number of benefits for both you and your pet. During Daycare and Boarding services, your pet will learn valuable social skills with both dogs and humans, practice their recall, and will be mentally and physically enriched by a group environment and a structured routine. During Mobile Care services, your pet will enjoy the stability of home while still getting socialization and enrichment. 

 As a pet owner, you can have peace of mind knowing your best bud is being cared for by experienced and compassionate professionals. 

For Boarding:  Please click HERE for a helpful packing list for your convenience. Please provide their food, medications, and any comfort items they may want. We have extras of most things (beds, blankets, toys, treats, leashes, harnesses, collars, dog coats, etc.) as well as a pet store in walking distance-no need to worry!

For Daycare- please provide a meal for your dog, if required. Toys, treats, and comfort items are all here!

At this time, we accept Cash, Check, Venmo, or Zelle payments. All payment information is listed at the bottom of your invoice. 

Due date is listed at the top of your invoice, it will always be the business day after your service ends. 

At Birchwood Pets, animal health and safety is our #1 priority.  If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, our team will follow the protocol outlined in the Boarding Agreement signed as part of your New Client Paperwork. It is crucial to have that paperwork read, filled out and signed as it provides us with the correct veterinary care for your pet as well as an emergency contact. In the event of illness or injury, you will always be contacted immediately and kept up to date and a part of any veterinary care. Cristina and Zach are both Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified and Cristina has a wide variety of knowledge and experience as a Veterinary Assistant- your pet is always in capable hands!

Our Daycare and Boarding groups have a 7 dog capacity. Your dog will never be in a group of more than 7. 

For small breeds , senior dogs or simply anxious pups: we do offer a Quiet Time experience with Zach, where they will be seperately cared for and played with, away from the group. We will always consult with you before introducing your dog to a group.

Anxiety is common for any animal in a new situation and we are very experienced with calming and Fear Free techniques to help. Meet and Greets are required to get the dog used to our team and/or the Birchwood Home. Once under our care, we will work slowly with their individual needs to create a positive experience for them. If your pet isn't enjoying the group activities at Birchwood, they will be placed with Zach for one-on-one care during the day and then sleep in a cozy bedroom with a team member's 24-hour supervision. Your pet will not be forced into any interactions and will meet each member of the group slowly before joining in fully. 

Yes! Daycare and Mobile Care clients will receive 1 update per day to their phone with photos and/or videos. Boarding clients will receive 2 updates per day to their phone with photos and/or videos. You can also check out Instagram.com/Birchwoodpets for even more regular updates!

 Boarding dogs will sleep "slumber party" style in their dog bed with plenty of blankets and their best buds next to them. Dogs who prefer other sleeping quarters will have access to an XXL kennel or a guest bedroom.

A Birchwood Team member will always be present in the room during sleeping hours, regardless of where your dog prefers- we prioritize safety first. 

Our spacious backyard has plenty of room to run and features a 6ft privacy fence for safety. During inclement weather, we also have a fully furnished indoor play room where pets can feel free to jump and run!
