The Birchwood Mission

  Birchwood Pets was founded with the idea that finding pet care shouldn't be stressful for owners, and experiences with pet care professionals shouldn't be stressful for pets. After years of working in large scale pet care facilities as well as veterinary clinics, Owner/Operator Cristina knew that she could create a better option for pets and their families.

   Most facilities have groups of 20+ dogs in one room with a constantly rotating staff. Just the noise alone in these facilities can send animals into deep anxiety and they are often unable to receive the proper amount of individual attention. Veterinary boarding is often cramped, too bright, and can be a very stressful environment. Since Birchwood Pets opened, our goal has always been to provide comfort and professional care to the pets in our community who need it to thrive. In a home environment, your pet will feel safe enough to be their true selves!

At Birchwood Pets, we are committed to providing the highest level of care to your pets. We believe in treating every pet as if they were our own and providing a safe and comfortable environment for them to thrive.

 Birchwod Pets opened it's doors in 2021, as a small group facility (no more than 7 animals at a time!) in a home settting. Comfy couches, warm, low lighting, and a quiet and calm environment are just some of the elements that turn our facility into a true Home Away From Home.

Birchwood uses a Fear Free approach to all clients while maintaining our promise to provide individualized care to each animal. We work around their schedule, not the other way around. We provide personalized care plans and outstanding communication with each service. Every pet is one of a kind- so is our care.
